Trust and product governance

Trust starts with visible evidence, not unsupported claims.

VIPAS product views are designed to show the source, policy, availability, ownership and decision context behind an energy workflow.

Visible in the product

Governance designed into the operating view.

These principles are demonstrated in the current VIPAS product screens and workflow handoffs.

01

Versioned analytical policy

PRISM settings expose the analytical lens, source precedence, normalization and publication context used across product views.

02

Evidence before inference

Product views distinguish certified evidence, screening context and unavailable information instead of filling gaps with fabricated results.

03

Traceable approvals

Plans retain version, stakeholder decisions, concerns and Finance approval state as the workflow progresses.

04

Role-owned signals

Signals connect evidence to ownership, notification, escalation, action and resolution context.

05

Explainable reconciliation

Operational and finance perspectives remain visible with an evidence-backed bridge between them.

06

Explicit next action

When required information is unavailable, the interface communicates the missing evidence and the next safe step.

Current security posture

Confirmed controls, with current limitations stated plainly.

These statements describe the current product posture. Deployment architecture and contractual requirements remain subject to a scope-specific review.

Cloud hosting

Hosted on Microsoft Azure.

Encryption

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Access controls

Role-based access and multi-factor authentication are available. SSO is not currently implemented.

Auditability

Audit logs support traceability across governed workflows.

Assurance status

SOC 2 work is in progress; VIPAS does not claim current certification.

Deployment review

Applicable controls, architecture and integration scope are confirmed for each enterprise deployment.

Integration approach

Connect through APIs without pretending every system is plug-and-play.

VIPAS Enterprise uses configurable API gateways for utility, meter, ERP and accounting environments. Exact connectivity is evaluated and implemented around the customer’s systems.

Vendor names indicate pilot, planned or technically evaluated contexts—not universal, out-of-the-box availability.

Pilot

ProUtility (Concentrix), ENGIE, Schneider Electric and CASS

Planned

CCA and Capturis

Bespoke API gateway

ERP and accounting environments such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Great Plains and QuickBooks can be evaluated through a tailored implementation.

Current limitation

No standard CRM integration is currently available.

Responsible product communication

Security and availability are stated at their current level.

Planned capability is not presented as currently available. Missing evidence is not presented as a measured result, and pre-launch product views are not represented as customer deployments.

Disclosure principle
Confirm the control. Label the status. Preserve the evidence.
